- Increased Nutanix usage while decreasing Broadcom VMware ESXi licensing by 70%.
- Implemented Epic Harbor, an isolated recovery environment (IRE), in AWS to strengthen ransomware resilience.
- Automated SSL certificate renewal via ACME, eliminating downtime caused by certificate expirations.
- Leading the health system's enterprise AI strategy, including on-prem inference capacity planning, AWS Bedrock deployment, RAG pipelines, Knowledge Bases, and agentic workflows.
- Built an incentive program to upskill IT teams on cloud and AI technologies, and sustained zero team turnover for three consecutive years.
Reported to the CMIO, creating and implementing high-value technology projects with direct impact on patient care, finances, regulatory compliance, and end-user experience.
- Built the health system's initial AWS cloud environment and developed dozens of Epic-integrated cloud applications.
- Developed a computer-telephony integration app for the Avaya phone system, eliminating the need for a vendor contract and saving over $100,000.
- Mentored other team members on Epic and cloud platform skills.
Founded and lead two companies: one focused on software development, the other on healthcare IT consulting and expert witness services.
- Developed and sold OptimOrder, an order-set management platform, generating $70,000 in annual revenue.
- Provided Epic consulting to clients including Baptist Health (KY), Catholic Health Initiatives, and Riverside Health System.
