Leading a team of 16 engineers, server administrators, and DBAs across infrastructure, cloud, and application engineering for a mid-sized health system.

  • Eliminated Citrix in favor of Epic endpoint installs, improving end-user experience and saving over $1M per year.
  • Migrated the Epic disaster recovery environment to Azure, increasing resilience and saving $160,000 in capital expenditures per year.
  • Increased Nutanix usage while decreasing Broadcom VMware ESXi licensing by 70%.
  • Implemented Epic Harbor, an isolated recovery environment (IRE), in AWS to strengthen ransomware resilience.
  • Automated SSL certificate renewal via ACME, eliminating downtime caused by certificate expirations.
  • Leading the health system's enterprise AI strategy, including on-prem inference capacity planning, AWS Bedrock deployment, RAG pipelines, Knowledge Bases, and agentic workflows.

  • Developed a computer-telephony integration app for the Avaya phone system, eliminating the need for a vendor contract and saving over $100,000.
